  • What is CCAP?
    The Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) helps low-income families pay for child care while working or attending school or training. Eligibility is based on family size and household income and how many hours the adult applying for CCAP works and/or attends school or training. To apply for CCAP click here https://cafe-cp.doe.louisiana.gov/edselfservice/ . CCAP is not associated to SNAP supplements but do share the same portal format.
  • Does my child need CCAP to attend Petite Amis Preschool?
    No but Petite Amis Preschool is partners with the child care assistance program directed by the state of Louisiana for students who cannot afford private school setting and/or receive high quality education. If you need to apply for CCAP please click the "What is CCAP" tab there is a link to apply.
  • Does the staff provide potty training support?
    In order to reassure high quality education students at the age of 2 and up are asked to be potty trained in order to attend the in-home care center setting. We are hoping to expand to a public facility setting in the near future that will allow the director to hire teachers and paraprofessional that can assist with each child's individual needs. Thanks for the understanding.
  • Does Petite Amis Preschool provide transportation?
    Unfortunately, we do not provide transportation. Petite Amis Preschool current operates as an in-home care center. We are hoping expand to a public facility setting in the near future that will offer transportation. Current students who will attend the program are asked to be dropped off once approved and accepted into the program.
  • Does Petite Amis Preschool support special accommodations students?
    Of Course! All students are welcome. Parents must answer all questions on the application and also specify what accommodations the student may need. If approved and accepted parent and the director will have a meeting to discuss those accommodations and how to support those accommodations proficiently.
